White on white: the latest trend everyone’s loving
I remember seeing white jeans coming into style a few months ago. I’ll admit I was hesitant, because I spill things for a living but I thought what the heck. I absolutely love how these jeans look in an outfit so why not, right? I loved it even more when I saw fashion guru’s pairing white-on- white in their day to day looks. (My fellow black-on-black lovers, I’m still here supporting that trend but a girl has gotta switch it up). Monochrome anything has been majorly in style lately and while I don’t wear a lot of bight colors myself, I was so excited when I started to see monochrome make its way into the neutral game. I like to keep it simple, casual and comfortable whenever I am styling my looks and the monochrome neutral palette makes that so simple!

Summer Time Chic
Whenever I see white denim and a white top in a styled look, my first thought is always “wow that looks so clean and put together!”. Pair it with some gold jewelry and you’ve got a whole outfit that looks totally effortless and chic. When I wear it I feel incredibly panicked that I’ll spill on it but hey – that’s what bleach is for! True to my nature of loving neutral tones, I’ve been buying a ton more tan and white clothes lately and something else I’ve been loving is how all of it looks so great together. Don’t get me wrong I’m a sucker for pastels but there is something so timeless about white!

Wearing and Styling Your Neutrals
You can do almost anything when you have a few pieces in similar shades. When you stick to a neutral palate, a tan colored shirt and white jeans or vice versa – it all looks good and it all looks totally put together without making a ton of effort. Which, I think resonates with almost anyone reading this. (Lazy girls who still love fashion unite!). I don’t know about you guys, but I feel so good when my outfit makes me feel confident. Clothing has been a way for me to express myself for as long as I can remember. Wearing all white or all beige or even a mix of both makes me feel very trendy, cool, (lighter in weight, somehow?) and classic. I love how much an outfit transforms a persons confidence and this trend is no different.
A simple way to add dimension to any monochrome outfit if you’re feeling like its a little “plain” is with different textures and patterns or with jewelry, a bag or shoes! For example my tank to in this post is ribbed which adds a ton of dimension even if it’s in a minor way. You don’t need much to amp up an outfit. Less is more, and little details really do make all the difference!
